Book vs. E-Book: Touche! [Quote of the Day]

"I noticed during takeoff and landing that I didn't have to turn off my book." --Author Margaret Coel, speaking at Saturday night's Author Banquet for Literacy during MPIBA's fall trade show in Denver. She shared a story about a Kindle-loving fellow airline passenger who told her that the book she was reading would soon be obsolete.

I want : Henry David Thoreau Cuff Bracelet

Henry David Thoreau Cuff Bracelet

This lovely bracelet cuff in sterling silver has Henry David Thoreau’s (1817–1862) “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams—live the life you’ve imagined” engraved on polished silver. Cuff bracelet is
approximately 1/4” wide with an inside width of 2-1/4”. One size fits most. Henry David Thoreau is considered to be one of the foremost American thinkers of his day. He wrote his most famous work, Walden in 1854. He was a champion of the individual and a bulwark against the Victorian obsession with social conformity, as is reflected in this quotation, which has been widely attributed to him.
