Very good- condition: dark green full cloth covers with orange & black highlights at front cover and spine - hinges starting, deckled edges, some remote little book bug-chewed spots at foredge and gutters. Bumped lower front corner, corner cloth frayed, somewhat at spine ends, cloth in general shows shelfwear. HEAVY.  xx, 311pp. Preface by Sir Sidney F. Harmer [Director of the British Museum] Photo-illustrations include: double-page frontispiece with tissue-guard; 62 full-page plates, one full-page map.
